Open bank acc. without ID and expired Int. passport?

I'm 18 and I just got a good paying job, but to be able to actually cash my check i need an account. My int. passport just expired and i just dont have the time and mean to update it now, i also haven't gotten my ID yet. is there any bank that will allow this or a bank that i could open my acc. online?|||Because of the new patriot act, you must have a current photo ID in good standing and a social security number to open an account. You might need to just go to some check cashing place or walmart to cash your checks.|||No. You have to have valid up-to-date ID.|||every bank needs a present id,,,, you should submit present and old id they will compare it.... if you want to have an id go to the governments office ask for a voters id and they will give you or a license id if yoy have 1 you could present that to the bank....|||I opened an account with alliance and leicester online and i didnt need to provide any paperwork or ID, try it.... Whats the worst that can happen.... they say NO and you try somewhere else

Good luck any way|||No you have to have two forms of ID - a full passport/driving licence plus a paid bill with your name and address on it.

Banks cannot open accounts without this in order to comply with money laundering regulations brought in after 9/11 at the insistance of the USA.|||Yes, you can cash your cheque at somewhere like a Pawn shop but they will take a small %|||Mark, you are able to cash a check without a bank account, if the check is drawn on a local bank. You are able to walk into that specific bank, declare that you do not have an account with them, but do have a check from their bank. You will need a proper form of ID, unless there is also an employee at that bank that knows you personally.

Just wondering how you got your good paying job without a form of ID? I recently renewed my expired domestic passport and paid triple expediting fees to get it back to me within two weeks!
