If i open up a childs bank acc for myself can my dad get in it?

If the account is under your name, I believe you would have to be present for your dad to get in. However most banks wont allow minors to create accounts and require a parent/guardian perhaps anyone 18 or older, to be the custodian of the minor account. Which sucks because then, you cant even access your account without the custodian present.

If you can create the account by yourself, and it is udner your name, only you can access it.|||If you're under 18, you'll need a custodial account. If your dad is the custodian of the account, yes, he can take money from it. Do you have another relative that could help with this, like mom?
