Today when I opened my acc the attachments were blanks, earlier they would show a miniature photo, what to do?

I can only tell you what I have observed. If the picture is about 100kb or less you see a thumbnail of the picture a the bottom of the email. If the picture is much larger than that I only see a little reference to the photo that I can click on to see it. If it is really big, I don't see anything at all at the bottom of the email. The only reference to the attachment is at the top above the message.
