Is there anywhere possible to open a free demat acc?

In India is there any service is provided for opening free demat account online or offline|||As far as I know ,there is no account opening charges in most of the brokerages. You have to pay only annual maintenance charges.|||it's not free bt nse or lse will provide this you in very lower cost. You should contact any broker to have a demate account. Don't say them that you want to take the limit.|||Yes if you have a HDFC a/s they will open it free for you...just call up the customer services and asked them to send an executvie so that you can open a demat a/c. I have one..|||go to a bank|||what do u get for free in this world. how can u expect a company formed for depository business to give free service.
