I am the admin and with the admin password, the limited account user is able 2 open Yahoo Messenger..So everytime I have to be there to type in the password.|||Messenger has its own prerequisites and is not going to change them for one person. You're going to either keep using your Admin password, or your going to give this person administrative privileges so they can use Messenger without bothering you all the time.
If they're mature enough to use Messenger, I would think they could be trusted. At the same time, I understand (as a parent) why you would want to limit their ability to roam the web without restraint.
This may be the answer for you, it's the link for a Web Messenger, it requires no downloading. You simply go to the page and sign up and viola! You're up and running.
To answer some questions you may have, it does has instant messaging, you can make sms calls, phone in, avatars and other options and if you're running XP, you'll have two more features than some.
By not needing to be downloaded, I don't think the user needs administrative privileges to use it. Why not give it a try?
