US Bank does use that system, but they also claim (at least on the signs I've seen when I go in there) that they'll give you a second chance even if you've got a record with CheckSystems. I've been banking a USB for a long time and really like the folks there.|||As I know most banks will give you a chance to open a savings accounts even if you are on the Check System. After 6 months or so if you keep good standing, you can even open a checking account with them. Or you can just go to the bank that you owe money to pay the debt off and they will take you off the Check System.|||Because you can still overdraw a savings account, any bank that won't open a checking account for you probably won't open a savings account either. Instead of trying to find a bank that doesn't check this system, try to find a bank that is understanding and willing to take the risk. As long as the reported information isn't recent (less than a year), then you can probably find an institution like this. This will be easier to find than a bank that doesn't check Check Systems.
Alternatively, you could always try to make good on what you owe to another bank. Then get a letter stating you have paid your NSF off since this will not be reported to Check Systems immediately.|||Most credit unions are local. Where do you live?|||You will be lucky,
