I live in the UK and was wondering if anybody can tell me how to open a bank acc in Europe to get interest?

im not rich so a Swiss style acc is no good for me, just to put my 50 pounds or so a week away pls help if you can|||you can go to your bank and arrange to have an off shore account opened up for you|||Why would you do that? The return and conversion cost when converted back in a few years time will negate any short term benefit. You can get off shore Euro accounts from most High Street banks if you want|||Don't bother ! The Euro is about the same as the pound so even offshore savings are not worth doing. Go for a high interest account here like Alliance + Leicester. Better still, log on to Moneysavingexpert via Google. Great tips on everything including finance.|||because of money laundering rules imposed by the European Union it would be difficult for you as you are not resident abroad|||It would be much better for you to invest in a tax free savings account (ISA's)
