How can I build a plastic greenhouse over my tomato patch,15ftx15ft which can be open or closed acc.to weather

I took a class in horticulture and there was a type of cheap easy greenhouse you could make using PVC and plastic. You take long pieces of like 陆 inch PVC and curve then into U-shapes. They are very plyable. Plant the each end of the PVC into the ground so that this U covers your plants. Get really long pieces so that the U still allows you room to get under to get to your plants. Put up a few of these. They will be like ribs over you plants. Now cover this with clear plastic and tie it down.

This will work as long as there is not too much wind and it is a very temporary structure. Don't expect it to last till next year.|||Do you live in Alaska? There are varieties of tomato that will grow successfully outdoors practically everywhere. Unless you are in the commercial tomato business it is hardly worth trying to grown them in a greenhouse. Make sure you are growing varieties that are suited to your climate.
