Name the banks please!|||first direct can open a joint account for you online but you won't get an account number same day.


At an HSBC branch, providing you have ID and proof of address and a reasonable credit rating, you can get the account number same day.|||i think you can open an account on line - but no way would you get the account number that day. they do all sorts of checks - money laundering etc and you have to prove who you are - i would say


weeks rather than hours.|||best to go into a bank and open account.
