yes you will should be removed form chexsystems after 5 years but make sure by getting a copy of your report. Sometiems you may have to send them a letter requesting to remove you and remind them that the 5 years are up. Paid or not, it does not matter.





As far as getting an account, there are banks do not use chexsystems and others that will allow those reported to chex to open accounts. Options really depend on where you live.
